San Diego

Sea World.
Coronado Beach
A shark in the water
John and Jaxon after our tour of the Old Coronado Hotel. It is beautiful. There was a wedding on the beach during our tour. It was so beautiful, but I must say, nothing compares to my wedding day! A temple wedding is more beautiful than any wedding I have ever seen!

The Blue Bayou

When John and I were on our Honeymoon in California we went to Disneyland. Well there are two things that you usually do on a honeymoon and one of them is eating (you sicko's). So John took me to the Blue Boyou inside Disneyland. We had such a romantic dinner. So every year we go to Disneyland we make reservations. This time Rebecca & Young came with Alyssa.
I tried to find a picture of John and I eating on our honeymoon, but it's somewhere in the rubble downstairs... Yikes!
Jaxon loved the Blue Bayou because...
He could take a nap! Lol.

The Goofster - Ode to Mom & Dad White

Johns mom & dad were gracious enough to take the whole gang to Goofys Kitchen. They all loved it! I especially enjoyed the mickey mouse shaped waffles...yum.

LOL! I pinched him in this one! LOL!!! Too funny!

Life at the Beach

Jaxon told me that he wants to move to California and live on the beach. My response was this, "well, sweetheart...you need to finish college (BYU), go to medical school, and then buy a big house on the beach where mommy & daddy can live with you! He said "Ok!... (pause) Dad, I'm going to have to go to college before I become a rock star!"
We found a million sand dollars and clam shells.
...what I want to be doing right now!

LOL...anyone been on the tower of terror?

I have to say this is my new favorite ride. It took a few times to Disneyland to get the guts up to go on it, but wowee...how fun! After about three times you start to feel brave enough to keep your hands up the entire ride. By doing that your bum comes off the seat several times and you really feel like you are free falling in an elevator. Hmmm. I might not be able to do the elevator at the empire state building again after this!

Amanda, myself & Amy waiting in line...
We were getting a little sweaty...no makeup & all!!!

Yeah, that is John's mom next to me!! LOL, brave!!!

I peed a little on the second time too...

Looks like the other Angie did too?

I love your face here Amy! LOL!

Rebecca you rock! (sorry so blurry).

Disney or Bust 2008

We just got back from the big family reunion in South Cali. It was so much fun. Spending 7 days in Southern California... um, yeah, I could live there! We did Disneyland again, only this time with the entire extended family. Thanks Mom & Dad it was a blast. The weather was nice, hot, and humid, but not as bad as it is in the summer. Thanks to everyone who made this family trip so much fun and memorable. Yes, we drove again. It's not so bad now that we know our way around California. LOL. Hee hee. Next time I will remember the CD case!!!

Touchdown?

John surprised me & Jaxon and took us to the Utes game tonight.
Jaxon excited about the "football" game!
Did I say excited? Uh...He's a cougar!
"ZZZZZ"

"Um...I wanna go home"
"Go Cougars! We're sitting this one out!"
"Ok, now we are having fun!"
Nuff Said! Hee Hee, but they did win at least!
Thanks John, we love you!

Kindergartener Cop

I just have to tell a funny story. For several years Jaxon has been our little "word policeman." He knows that "stupid, dummy, jerk, punk, and shut up" are bad words (as well as a few others I won't name...I might add). Sometimes It's funny to see him go to school or other places and be the little word policeman. I think it's cute. I overheard him tell another boy on the playground yesterday that "STUPID IS A BAD WORD!" I had to laugh because the other boy said, "no it's not...my mom says it all the time!" LOL!

Here are a few pics of Jaxon making his way to class on the first day of school.

Lagoon - It's what fun is!

Allison, Megan, Drea, Amanda, Lexi, Kristen, and Zac just left our house. We had a fun night at Lagoon. Megan and Drea - Happy sweet sixteen. I hope you got your wish! LOL! We sure had fun. I especially loved it when I hit your car with a slice of pizza! What a blast! The show was such fun, and I am so glad that we were able to see JT.

Fall 4 you & Rookie of the Year!

I tried to download my video...hmmm. This was my favorite song of the night. Thanks to Amanda we had the perfect place to see everything going on. Last night was the last night of their tour so all the bands were playing pranks on each other. It was hilarious. I definitely need to get out more! Here's a few pictures though...

I also really, really liked the band Rookie of the Year! They were great! Good songs on their CD Sweet Attention. You should check it out! Here's a picture of me & Mike, and me & Vito! I told you I liked acting like I was in High School again! LOL!

Someone had to represent the "Utah Moms!"

Secondhand Seranade Concert

What A BLAST! It's 1:00am, and I just got home! LOL! It was so fun feeling like I was in High School again. I went with Megan, Amanda, and Drea to the secondhand serenade concert. It was so fun! I'll post some more pics later, cause I was helping the "girls" flirt with the band members of the opening acts! LOL! Yeah, they thought I was totally HOT!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?

John has been at a conference in Vegas for over one week now. He doesn't get home until Sunday. The APWU conference was held at the Paris hotel (which I did remind my husband that I have yet to visit Paris, France, let alone the Paris in Las Vegas...Totally jealous). I think I might have to start a savings account to go to France next year. That being said...Anyone else interested?

Chuck E Cheese & The Mayan?

Tonight I took Zac, Jaxon, Lexi, and Kristen to Chuck E Cheese. They were awesome. My secret to chuckee's is to only give the smaller kids one token at a time. This way they are sure to check in after every game, and give you their tickets. It worked wonders. Thanks Lexi & Kristen for all your help!

On the way home (as I hate the pizza at the above location) we were all hungry as we drove past the Mayan. I decided it was time to stop and have some fun with the kids.
They loved it!

Lexi, Zac & Kristen

I loved it too as we sat at the very top at the table next to all the "divers" if ya know what I mean! Hee hee. Whoo Whoo. I think even an 8 year old knows how to crinkle her nose at the site of a speedo! LOL!

Angie's Top 10 Interview questions...

1- Do you consider yourself an well organized person? As you answered yes, I would like to see your day planner pages. Secondly, let's walk out to the parking lot and look inside your vehicle! Yeah, it really happened! Even you look mortified!

2- Which describes you best...self starter or kick starter? Depends on what time of the day you are asking.

3- Are you married? Yeah, this is totally illegal! LOL!

4- As you answered yes to number 3, do you have any children and what are their ages? Another one of my favorite illegal questions!

5- What is the reason that you left Novell? (Um, how do you say, I was prego and was planning on being a full time mom, but had troubles, and now most likely can't have kids...so here I am in the workforce again. That one always seems to bring down the tone. But, I guess I get the last say!).

6- Tell me about a time where you encountered a specific problem, and what was the resolution you took? Well, when John and I were first married he left his dirty clothes all over the floor. The solution was to buy a hamper. Hamper has lived in the bedroom, bathroom, and now John's closet - with no resolution. Still wanna hire me?

7- Do you speak, read, and write English? Uhmm, let me think about that one!

8- Do you consider yourself a team player, or a player on the team? LOL! See question 3. I can no longer be a player because I am a married woman!

9- Tell me how you discipline employees? Well, as I have been out of work for 9 months...Does a 5 year old count? I count to three and then give him a time out. Then talk to him about how he feels about what happened...and then ask him if he felt bad...is that choosing the right?

10- Looks like you have a unique background of work experience. You have excellent academic credentials, but can you really tell me who you are? Well, why don't we save that question for the second interview? If I can't sell myself, then I can't sell anything, right?
